with Ms. Pari Maleki

There is little
work in the total of Iranian music (women and men) , which its results are not
clearly , said Pari Maleki . How many cassettes and CD's are published monthly ?
A lot of these
composers and singers don't do anything . Sometimes is published a cassette of
Shajarian or Nazeri , where are th others?
The Leader and Singer of Khonya Group , referred to antecedent of Lady's
music and said : The music center of the Culture & Guidance Ministry , which
is the administrator of music , prepared some possibilities – in the basis of
their rules and provisions – that some of the groups consist of ladies ( players and singers ) can perform for other
ladies. At first it was done whithout any advertising and news and also very
limited and with a few of groups .
She continued : Jasmine Festival endeavored to authenticate the performance
of lady's group in the certain time and in the shape of an independent festival
, for the first time . After a while the Fadjr Music Festival, recognized the
lady's music groups and allocated some concerts for them in it's schedule of
the performances and then they allowed to them for concerts out of festivals.
Mrs. Maleki with reffering to this point that th last step in this way is
preparing some possibilities for the groups with accompanist singers and
players ( men and women ) , Which could have public audience : After Iran
revolution , presence of the lady's singers eho don’t have any possibility to
perform , which it is solved by formatting the lady's music groups ( special
for ladies ) .
She emphasized that it was a brief review of lady's formatting groups , not
lady's music and declared : men and women have equally portions for remaining
and spread about music , and it is not any reasons to seclusion for women who
can sing in a position that is not any possibilities for activity . She can
transfer all of her information , knowledge andawareness to the young
generation , and in this case she can try to preserve music .
In the case of music group's disability to perform a concert out of the
festivals , and with a indication to the group , which are active more or less ,
the leader of Khonya group said : It's not related to ability or disability of
lady's group. It's possible that some groups prefer to perform in the festivals
e.g. Fadjr or Jasmine . Any way if a group can perform , then it could every
time . Our group has had a lot of performances from the beginning of this year
in Niavaran , two performances for rehabilitants' association and two nights in Hafezieh Hall in
We won't have concert in Jasmine Festival this time , Mrs. Maleki said and
added : I Have heared 45 groups are volunteers for Jusmin Festival , some of
our members so act with other groups therefore we can not present in this
festival . But presence of 45 groups is very good news for me . It shows that ,
there has been done a lot of work to organizing the lady's music groups in
these years .
She talked about the opportunities that can promote the lady's music and
said : to promote the lady's music group , it's necessary that composers think
about cooperation with these groups in spite of the limited performances . I agree
that the composers 'disorder to these groups is in the result of there is not
any advantage for the composers , not materially nor spiritual but it has to do
anyway.
She continued : in the innummerrous performances of Khonya group I have
perceived a thinkable point . Some of the audiences of these concerts are
interested in traditional music , in addition to there are some people who
sometimes come to concerts and we have some problems with this group . Certainly
, if the musical culture of people grows up everybody will go to his/her
pleasure concert . It is the task and responsibility of culture makers , which
is to charge of Radio , TV & Press
